Memories behind the scars

Hello lovelies

Today I realised something, something that hit me like a brick. When I was born, the doctors pulled my hip out of its socket, this wasn't noticed for two years. After they realised I needed 4 operations to repair it, I was left with a nasty scar. I used to always cover it up and would never wear a bikini.

There isn't much you can change about your body, but the scars we have hold their own memories and make us different to the world. You are genetically made in a certain way but the scars we place are our own, they define us.

After leaving secondary school I realised, I don't need to live up to people's standards. With all the advances in technology the world is moving and less things are becoming acceptable in people's eyes.  So many social strains are upon us and we feel we have to live to them. We need to let go of the social standards. If you have a bright blue fluffy jacket with sparkles everywhere go wear it, ignore social standards and think of your own standards and live to them. Be your own role model.

If anyone feels any shame or disappointment by scars or fashion, anything, feel unique in yourself, don't fail yourself by defining yourself as other people

Love Clo zxx
