He's just not that into you

Hello lovelies

Today I'm going to be giving you 5 signs that a guy is just not into you. Now i have had a lot of experience in this field (*cries a little inside*) and I'm going to give you some helpful tips and tricks to make sure you know if he likes you or not.

1. One sided conversations

Now if you and this guy are texting and you relies that you are asking the questions and not getting any back? I'm sorry dear but he isn't that into you. If he does this he doesn't want to carry on the conversation with you, and maybe is trying to nicely stop you talking to him. This also applies to if you are always popping up first. If everyday you message them and wait hours for a response and they reply half heartedly, they aren't into you.

Example:

(right the girl is Sarah and the boys name shall be George)

Sarah- Hi how is your day?
(sent at 5.00pm)

George- ok
(sent at 12.00pm)

Sarah- Hows your day?
(Sent at 7.00am)

George- ok
(sent at 11.00pm)

If this is you and another person, I'm sorry but they aren't interested in the conversation and doesn't like you in that way. Don't worry laddies the perfect man is still out there yet!!

2. He never wants to meet up with you

If you are always dropping hints and asking to go out with someone and they always so no, or they are busy, means they probably don't like you. Now he may actually be busy but if this happens constantly then he is making excuses to not meet you. Never put up with that s**t.  If they say "maybe in the future" don't start making date plans in you're head, because love it probably isn't going to happen. If he liked you enough he would drop anything to spend a second with you.

3. He refers to you as mate, or in my experience, Homeslice. If  he is calling you names like this, he is trading you like on of his mates, which means you have been friend zoned my dear. But this could be the start of a great friendship, remember not every boy you talk to has to become a boyfriend, sometimes its good to have one to ask about boys in the future. Pretty nifty huh!

4. He constantly mentions his ex's and girls he finds attractive. This is a big no no and you should back away as soon as you can. If he is mentioning a girl called Stacy that he likes, he doesn't like you, he likes Stacy! There may be a small chance you two could fall in love, but in reality it doesn't happen much.

5. lastly, he doesn't try and take interest in the things you love. Now i know they say opposites attract but not in every case. If you mention a favourite song or band that you adore, and he doesn't say he will listen or doesn't give an opinion on it, he doesn't care about what you like, and probably doesn't fancy you. But don't be bummed out by this , Trust me the right guy will come at the right time, as Louise Penthurst says " i was crying at my table thinking i would never be in love, a week later i met my husband"

I hope these helped. If you want me to do a She's not that into you, comment below.

First dates

First dates

I remember my first date, the worry of what to wear, how to act and even if you are going to get the kiss at the end.

Im going to be telling you some tips for dates and also some outfits to wear for a variety of different locations

where to go

Now before you even get into worrying about outfits and makeup, you have to decide a nice location. Maybe your in a situation where he has chosen the place, if so, lucky you. For anyone that has been told its their choice, can feel like its a very daunting choice. You could go to the cinema and watch a film, which is very good if you are a very quiet and nervous person because not much talking is involved, but if you want to get to know a date better, maybe go for a coffee and chat or take a picnic to the park.

what to wear

So you are in your bedroom clothes all over the floor and you feel like not one outfit is good enough, if your at this stage take a breather, remember you are dressing to impress the date but your also dressing to impress yourself. For my first date i made the mistake of wearing tight jeans that obviously didn't fit me anymore, because i wanted to look nice. Girls, if something doesn't feel comfortable don't wear it!! There is nothing worse then sitting with a date, with a massive stomach ache because of tight jeans and loss of air because a top is too tight. Wear something casual that you feel comfortable and nice in. If you feel confident, it will make your date feel confident. Maybe try some jeans and a baggy jumper, or a skirt with a baggy shirt, if you want to be more fancy go for a dress with ankle boots.

Makeup

Now this can be the worst part of the whole getting ready process. Now girls listen up boys do not want to see their date with spider leg eyelashes and a orange face. The more natural the better. You may think that the date will want to see you plastered in makeup but in fact, they want to see a more natural you. Maybe try a light lip, a light smokey eye and maybe some bronzer. With this look you still feel confident but you don't look like a completely new person.
Here are some links to some makeup tutorials i think look perfect for a date:

How to act.

Now i know you probably hear this all the time but be yourself. If you don't it can backfire a lot. If he asks if you like cheese and you hate it, don't say you love it because he may offer you some later and that would look bad on your part. If you lie to him and he finds out, he may question other things you have said. Its ok not to like everything he likes, as the saying goes, opposites attract.
Remember to bring money, if you are going on a date, don't always expect him to pay for you, if he offers thats great but if he doesn't your stuffed. He will also find it nice that you respect him and don't expect him to do everything for you.

The end of the date

Now in every moving you have ever seen the romantic date always ends in a kiss, in real life this may not be the case. Don't force a kiss upon someone, if you want to wait until you know each other more, don't feel bad to reject the kiss. Now you will not be perfect at it the first time so don't expect to be a pro and go straight for a french kiss. Remember you have only been on one date with the guy and you don't want to rush things

Good luck girls, remember there is always more fish in the sea

Tips for drama studies

My passion

Ever since a young age a massive passion of mine has been drama. Now drama studies can seem like quiet a scary thing for some people. Well i have had some major ups and downs in my whole time of doing drama studies. Today I'm going to share with you 6 amateur mistakes that i made, so you don't have to.

1. Don't rely heavily on your group. For my final performance in drama i had a very lazy group which lead to the later fails of our performance. Don't be afraid to take charge and make changes depending on whats best fro the performance not you're group. At the end of the day it makes you the bigger person. As they say, the show must go on.

2. Don't over think things. In drama when you are given the freedom to choose what you want to do for you're performance, it ok to be imaginative but try not to think of unrealistic storylines, such as flying to the moon in a real rocket.

3. Rome wasn't built in a day. What i mean by this is you not have to have everything planned and ready the first day you get your assignment. Im a very impatient person so when i was on the course, i wanted a script a character the whole shabam on the first day. In actual reality this will not happen, and if it is than it isn't going to be the best work, therefor lowering you're grades. Ouch!

4. There are no small parts. Yes i know this sounds stupid but it is 100% true. Someone with the part of a maid and one as a princess in the story can gain the same grades. How do i do that? you ask well it really comes down to you.  If you put in 100% effort and show the audience that your a professional and you have bloody got this.

5. Make sure you have you're script ready before the actual night. Yes it seems obvious but sometimes you make so many changes that at the end of the night you don't have a final script. Then if you need a line call it might not be on the script. Plus any people that where too lazy to learn the script, can read their lines from paper.

6. Finally be careful with props. funny enough you aren't on the set of Eastenders where you can whack people in the face with a bottle, and they come away fine. In my latest performance I ended up whacking a fellow cast member in the arm with a wooden stick. Its all fun and games until the audience bursts out laughing because you're cast member is uncontrollably swearing.

These are my tips to a successful drama performance.
please don't make the same mistakes I did

Planning for Paris

Hello lovelies,

It has always been a dream of mine to one day to travel to Paris and next year I'm finally taking the plunge. You never release how much hard work it is to plan a holiday, till you are actually planning one yourself. So in this post i would like to share with you the perfect way to plan your trip!!

1. Try to at least learn simple French words and phrases. Now i know this means actually making the effort to learn words but in long run, these will become very handy. Now imagine the scenario, you are waiting for a bus, but it never arrives, you are in a massive panic and feel like curling into a ball and crying, when suddenly a bus does turn up. How do you ask where it is going? exactly. By learning simple phrases and words, could save you a whole lot of trouble on the trip. Maybe buy a French dictionary.

2.  The perfect hotel. For many people going to paris, they are there for one purpose only, to see the sights. Whats worse then booking a hotel with an hours walk to the eiffel tower. Make sure before booking the hotel to check around the area, Shove the address into google maps and see what is close. With the right research you could be taking Instagram worthy photos by the louvre in no time.

3. Always make sure you have change. In Paris it isn't free to pee, so if you have a weak bladder much like myself, always make sure you have spare change, it could be a matter of life or death ( for your dignity)

4. This seems like a quiet obvious one but don't forget to exchange for euros before heading out to France, the exchange rate may be much better and it could be harder to exchange them when you arrive. Without money how are you meant to pay for all your keyrings?

5. finally make sure you have enough money for everyday. You don't want to end up wasting your whole allowance on one day and have to starve the rest of the time. You should plan your money through the week. This way you can enjoy everyday not just one

Quick note, thank you so much guys for reading my posts, it means the world to me xx

Lost in the woods

Day out in nature

Today i visited a local woods. My uncial thoughts where "wow a woods, that will be so fun" (that was sarcastic if anyone didn't get that) but the views and the scenery was just amazing. i went on a forty minute trek with my family only to end up lost within the first twenty minutes. While searching for a exit (desperately might i add) i found some amazing things such as camps and dark passages. Nature is a truly splendid thing and i feel most people don't venture outside anymore, because it is a known fact that us teenagers are allergic to the sunlight much like vampires, but when you see what nature has to offer, you will wonder why you ever put it off. There is a world beyond our phone screens and sadly many people don't witness it.

If you venture outside this weekend don't hesitate to send pictures to my instagram or twitter, i love to see what you guys are up too!!!!

Memories behind the scars

Hello lovelies

Today I realised something, something that hit me like a brick. When I was born, the doctors pulled my hip out of its socket, this wasn't noticed for two years. After they realised I needed 4 operations to repair it, I was left with a nasty scar. I used to always cover it up and would never wear a bikini.

There isn't much you can change about your body, but the scars we have hold their own memories and make us different to the world. You are genetically made in a certain way but the scars we place are our own, they define us.

After leaving secondary school I realised, I don't need to live up to people's standards. With all the advances in technology the world is moving and less things are becoming acceptable in people's eyes.  So many social strains are upon us and we feel we have to live to them. We need to let go of the social standards. If you have a bright blue fluffy jacket with sparkles everywhere go wear it, ignore social standards and think of your own standards and live to them. Be your own role model.

If anyone feels any shame or disappointment by scars or fashion, anything, feel unique in yourself, don't fail yourself by defining yourself as other people

Afternoon tea

Afternoon tea.

Yesterday me and my friends visited Cupcake heart cafe to have afternoon tea. Me and my friends found it absolutely amazing. The seating area was very homely and also had an outside seating option. When we arrived we was seated and welcomed with a cup of tea and a cupcake of our choice. I had a confetti cupcake (which was absolutely amazing) i would highly recommend this café. It also includes a play area for the kids.  I would advice the peanut butter cupcake also!!

Night time skin care

Hello lovelies, as you know it is very important to look after your skin. I have gathered some of my all time favourite skin care products and thought i might share them with you guys xx

lip care

Before i go to bed i religiously use the avon lip care royal jelly. The formula helps to prevent dry lips and always helps them to be in their best condition. Although it may sting the lips when first applied as it takes away the dry skin. I have used this everyday for the past 3 months and have seen such an amazing transformation in my lips.

spot treatment

Through the summer i seem to get a lot of pesky pimples on my skin. The freedom face cream works absolute wonders. my spots disappear within the first 3 days of applying. But what i have noticed is it doesn't work as well for acne. It is a little more on the pricy side but i feel it is 100% worth it.

Face wash

Everytime i remove my makeup i use the Clearasil  with a sink full of warm water. After using this my face feels refreshed and ready for bed time. It also helps to prevent spots. I feel like a face wash should be important in everybody's night time routines to wash off any traces of makeup left. It is only £3.05 and has been re purchased by me over a million times

face cream

I use two face creams depending on what my skin is like on the day. If my skin feels dry i tend to use the Olay essentials Conditioning milk, but if my face feels tight and heavy i use the Skin therapy sensitive cleanser.

hope this helps you out

first makeup kit

Hello lovelies

when you first start wearing makeup it can be a rather daunting thing. so many different brands and colours that it can sometimes put you off of makeup all together. I have put together some makeup items that I feel would be essential for a young girl starting her long makeup journey.

first note- always make sure you are wearing makeup for the right reasons, make sure you are doing it for yourself, and not to impress others xxx

I popped into town and went to the drugstore and found a perfect selection of makeup for people just starting out.

foundation

Foundation can be pretty expensive and hard to choose in a drug store. From my own personal experience of starting out makeup I chose the Rimmel lasting finish foundation. It gives full coverage, without any cakeyness. I found this in my superdrug for £7.99, and for the price it is bloody amazing. Remember before rushing in to buying a foundation always colour match to your skin tone. For the foundation I like to use my Real techniques miracle complexion sponge. Although it is £5.99, it helps give an even coverage of makeup, giving the best result for your foundation.

powder

For any foundation it is vital to set it with powder, without the powder the foundation wont last and will fall off during the day. I have used many drugstore powders and I have found the Makeup revolution pressed powder to be the best, and it is also only £2!!. It also comes in a wide variety of colours for many skin tones. To apply I suggest the Studio brushes.

Bronzer

For the bronzer I use the same brand as the powder. you have to be careful when purchasing bronzer for cheap as sometimes it can be very dark and have a orange pigment. For drugstore the best bronzer I found was the Makeup Revolution Bronzer Matte Light Shimmer. This bronzer is perfect for adding a cool tone to your face, especially in the winter. It is also only £2 and is optional, but I do like to warm up my face for the tanned effect.

Mascara

One of my all time favourite mascaras is the mayballine lash sensational. This mascara gives a fuller eyelash look.

Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow is very hard to get a grasp on, so you may want to use one colour over the whole lid. I chose the Makeup revolution redemption palette. I chose this palette because of the matte colours, which would be perfect for school. It also comes with a shimmer shade for the inner corner of the eye.It costs £4 and comes with a wide array of colours.

If any of you want me to complete a makeup tutorial of any of these products, don't hesitate to leave a comment on my Instagram or under this post.

Worth the wait

Image result for downton abbey love quote

Hello lovelies

I'm a true downton abbey fan, (before anyone laughs it is a very good tv series) and I feel like it shares a very important factor for girls.

When I was younger around 13 and everyone started to get into relationships I seemed to think I should take whatever I get thrown at me, I didn't stop to think maybe I could wait for the right person. I wanted a relationship right then. As I have grown older I have released that although you may have a thousand men hitting you up in the DMs as people say, just because they like you doesn't mean you have to like them back. As I have said in my previous post, I feel like I should take the first man to like a photo but it's ok to say no. It really is vital to understand what you want in a relationship. What you would value before rushing straight in. As I'm sure you have heard before, the fastest way isn't always the best way. Now as I'm sure your wondering, how does this link to downton abbey, well the girls seem to think they must have the man that they see first, so they can hurry and be wed, but as time goes on they meet their sweet hearts, proving that a right moment is always worth the wait

Relationships

Image result for funny relationship quotes

This is to anyone who feels like they aren't good enough to be in a relationship

I'm 16 and have never been in a very serious relationship, I have never released the reasons why until now.
We see it everyday with our selves. I'm one of those people that if a boy so much as likes a photo of mine on Instagram I already start thinking of a relationship with him. I always thought the reason why I wasn't in a relationship was maybe because I was ugly or not good enough, but what we never think is maybe, we haven't found ourselves yet and should learn to love ourselves before we trust another.
I know you have probably heard it all before but I have never quite realised that maybe I'm not ready, maybe I'm not mature enough.
So everyone thinking that they aren't good enough to be in a relationship, think maybe I wouldn't be happy , maybe I'm not ready, and it's perfectly fine not to be.
Everybody matures at different times and even if it takes 30 years, when the time comes you will find someone and be able to give the relationship the time and nourishment that it needs.
Don't feel like you need to rush into relationships because people around you are.
